No. The electric scissor (gull-wing) doors, the lifting chassis, the rising rear wing, the LED headlights and RC driving all come with the separately sold RC Power Kit — available in a Standard and a Deluxe version. The standard set is a static display model.

Yes — this is the headline feature. The hardtop roof assembly lifts off by hand, turning the closed coupé into an open-top roadster in minutes, so you get two different display looks from the same build. With the Deluxe RC kit fitted, the roof structure can retract and extend under power.

The standard set needs none. It is a purely static display model — steering, suspension and the 3-speed gear linkage all work by hand. If you add the optional RC Power Kit, it is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery box supplied with the kit.

The vacuum-electroplated coating is what gives the body its mirror sparkle, so handle those panels gently during the build. Dust with a soft dry cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners, and keep the finished model out of prolonged direct sunlight.

High difficulty — recommended for experienced builders aged 14+. The mechanical assemblies and the electroplated bodywork are the most rewarding parts. Numbered bags and the full-colour illustrated manual keep each phase manageable. Estimated build time is 8–12 hours.
