The BR10649 is a large 1:8 scale retro widebody track supercar built from 3,970 precision ABS bricks. Its exclusive vacuum-electroplated silver-white body with orange racing stripes and an "01" race number nails a classic vintage race-car look — wide fenders, a layered front air intake, pop-up flip headlights and a high-downforce rear wing. At 24.5 inches (62.3 cm) long, it's a striking centerpiece.

Out of the box it's a static display model — no batteries needed — with a large simulated engine, gold-look exhaust pipework, steering linkage and manually working butterfly doors and lift-up front hood. Add the separately sold RC kit for electric butterfly doors with door-linked flip lights (the pop-up headlights close automatically when the doors open, and light up when they close), a rear steam-spray exhaust, an adjustable chassis, a motorized engine and sequential LED lights. Built for adult builders, retro-racing fans and technic-brick collectors aged 14+.

A visible large simulated engine sits in the bay with gold-look exhaust pipework — the pistons move in sync as the wheels turn. Turn the cockpit steering wheel and the front wheels turn with it, on a chassis with an independent suspension and brake calipers at each wheel. Nothing simplified away — the gears, suspension and exhaust are all reproduced brick-by-brick.

Fit the separately sold dynamic kit to unlock the electric functions, run by 2.4G wireless remote:

• Electric butterfly doors with door-linked flip lights — the pop-up headlights close automatically when the doors open, and turn on when they close
• Rear steam-spray exhaust — simulated mist from the dual exhausts via atomizers
