01

The build, in short

Overview

The BR0020 is a full dual-lane bowling alley made from 2,598 precision ABS bricks. It brings together hand-launched catapult play, motor-driven automatic pin reset, flowing LED track lights and arcade game sounds in one buildable set.

Everything electric — the two M motors, the sound chip and the light strips — is pre-built into the structure at the factory, so there is no extra motor kit to buy. Add your own 6 AAA batteries and you're ready to play a real bowling match with friends and family. Built for teens and adults aged 14+.

Powered and ready — just add batteries

As you build, the motors, wiring, sound module and LED strips slot into place step by step — the circuits are already designed in, so there's no soldering or guesswork. When the build is done, load 6 AAA batteries, flip the big red one-touch switch, and every electric function comes to life at once.

02

How you play

Two lanes, two players, head-to-head

Two parallel lanes let two players go head-to-head. Each lane has its own hand-controlled elastic catapult — pull back, judge the strength yourself, and fire a colourful mini ball at the pins. It rewards a bit of practice, so matches stay competitive.

One-button automatic pin reset

This is the centrepiece. Knock the pins down, push the side lever, and the built-in motors lift and re-arrange every pin for you — no reaching in to stand them back up. A big red one-touch switch turns all the electric functions on and off. Part of the gear linkage stays visible as you build, so you can see the crank-and-cam mechanism that makes the reset work.

Dual mechanical score counters

Independent score dials on the left and right track each player's knockdowns separately, so who's winning is clear at a glance — no phone, no paper, just turn the knob.

Lights, sound & detail

LED track lights & game sound
  • Flowing LED lights: four light strips run down both lanes, sending colour flowing along the track as you play for a real arcade feel
  • Built-in sound effects: pre-programmed bowling sounds trigger when the ball hits the pins, adding to the on-site arcade atmosphere
Real bowling-alley details

The set recreates the look of a real alley: directional lane arrows, numbered round markers, bold "BOOM" impact graphics, brick-built pins and multi-colour mini balls. Rounded edges and bright, lively colours make it as good to look at on a shelf as it is to play.

04

Build quality

Materials & craftsmanship

Bricks are high-density ABS with a firm, consistent clutch for a stable build. Transparent PC light covers let the LEDs shine through while protecting the beads. Drive gears are precision-moulded to mesh smoothly without jamming, and the catapult parts use high-toughness bricks so the launch strength stays consistent over long-term play.

Stable base, modular build

The wires, motors and light parts are embedded modularly as you build, and a thickened base keeps the whole table steady — no wobble during repeated ball launches and motor cycles. Movable parts use wear-resistant gears and elastic pieces made for repeated play.

What you'll learn (STEM)

Building it covers elastic-force transmission, motor-and-gear linkage, circuit wiring logic and cam reciprocating motion. Playing it teaches force control and projectile trajectory. It's a hands-on way to explore mechanics, physics and simple electronics at once, while exercising spatial thinking and assembly skill.

Safety & care

Small parts. Contains small bricks and game parts — choking hazard. Age 14+. Keep small parts away from children under 3. Don't over-pull the elastic catapult. Build strictly by the manual.

Playing safely. Never aim or fire the balls at faces, eyes or fragile items. Keep the table on a flat surface during play so it can't tip.

Batteries. Runs on 6 AAA batteries (not included). Don't mix old and new or different types. Remove them for long-term storage to avoid leakage. Don't pry open the sealed motor or sound modules.
