What Is BR0017?
BR0017 is a cyberpunk mechanical mantis building set from the Cyber Insect Series. It is a bionic brick model that turns insect anatomy into a poseable machine: a narrow head with long antennae, serrated foreclaws, six segmented walking legs, a gear-packed abdomen, and four translucent purple wings. The frame is built from metallic silver electroplated bricks, navy blue mechanical parts, and translucent purple trim.
This is not a static statue. The claws, legs, abdomen, and wing roots all run off exposed internal gears in a multi-axis layout. Twist the gears by hand and the limbs move in sync, reproducing the mantis’s clamping strike and walking gait. The standard set is a hand-poseable collector build with no motor, remote, or batteries. A separately sold 2.4G RC kit adds motorized crawling and automatic claw swinging.
