🕸️ What Is the Cyber Spider?
BR0018 is a 971-piece mechanical spider that blends cyberpunk aesthetics with real gear-driven movement. Its eight legs don't just sit there — they are part of a mechanical linkage system that turns the tail gear and simulates crawling. The transparent shell exposes the internal structure, while the intermittent light system gives it a bio-mechanical pulse. This is not a static model; it's a desk-sized outpost of the insect apocalypse.
Explore the Dynamic Pack →
In the world of cyberpunk, insects are the ultimate survivors — adaptable, resilient, and quietly terrifying. A mechanical spider is more than a robot; it's a statement about nature and technology merging. Every gear and transparent panel is a nod to that sci-fi legacy, turning a pile of bricks into a creature that feels alive.
At 971 pieces, this build sits in the sweet spot for adult builders: complex enough to be rewarding, but not so massive that it becomes a chore. The gear linkage is the centrepiece — when you turn the tail wheel, the legs move in a coordinated crawl. The light system pulses on and off, mimicking a biological rhythm. And with the optional dynamic pack, you can upgrade to motorized crawling and remote control.

⚙️ Gear Linkage & Mechanical Detail
Tail Gear Drive
The rear gear assembly connects to each leg through a series of linkages. Turn the tail wheel and the eight legs move in a coordinated crawl — a genuine mechanical simulation, not a static prop.
Transparent Shell
A clear dome covers the central mechanics, letting you see the gears, linkages and light module inside. It's an exhibition piece as much as a creature.
Intermittent Glow
The standard set includes a simulated bioluminescent lighting effect with an intermittent glow. The lights pulse on and off, mimicking a bio-mechanical heartbeat. Batteries are required and not included. The optional Dynamic Pack is sold separately and adds motorized crawling and 2.4G remote control; it is not required for the light effect.
Display stand: The dedicated nameplate display stand gives the spider a stable, elevated position, turning it into a proper shelf centerpiece.
⚡ Optional Dynamic Pack – Motorized Crawling
Fit the separately sold dynamic pack to unlock:
-
Motorized crawling — the spider walks with a realistic八足协同 motion.
-
2.4G remote control — forward, reverse, and directional movement.
-
Rechargeable lithium battery box — powers the motor and remote.
Dynamic pack includes: L motor ×1, 2.4G multi-function remote ×1, rechargeable lithium battery box ×1.
Important: The dynamic pack is not included in the standard set. If you plan to assemble your own battery setup, contact us first at admin@brickroyal.com for compatibility guidance.

🎯 Who This Build Is For
The BR0018 Cyber Spider suits builders who enjoy:
- Mechanical models with visible gear systems
- Cyberpunk and sci-fi aesthetics
- Display pieces that stand out on a shelf
- Optional motorized upgrades for interactive play

Light & dynamic pack note: Batteries are not included. Follow the wiring instructions and charge the battery pack under adult supervision. The light system uses low-voltage LEDs; do not modify the wiring.
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the purple finish and transparent parts.
What builders ask before choosing this cyber spider.
“Does the spider actually crawl without the dynamic pack?”
Yes — the gear linkage system allows the legs to move when you turn the tail wheel. It's a mechanical simulation of crawling. The optional dynamic pack adds motorized crawling and remote control, but the manual gear movement works out of the box.
“How does the light system work? Does it need batteries?”
The intermittent light system is included in the standard set. It requires batteries (not included) to operate. The lights pulse on and off to simulate a bio-mechanical glow.
“What's included in the optional dynamic pack?”
The dynamic pack includes: L motor ×1, 2.4G multi-function remote control ×1, and a rechargeable lithium battery box ×1. It unlocks motorized crawling and remote control. It is sold separately.
“How difficult is the build at 971 pieces?”
Mid-to-high difficulty. The gear linkage and leg assembly are the most intricate parts. Numbered bags and a full-colour manual keep each phase manageable. Estimated build time: 8–12 hours. Recommended for ages 14+.
“What if a piece is missing or damaged?”
Within 48 hours of delivery, send us a short unboxing video and clear photos to admin@brickroyal.com. We'll replace any confirmed missing or damaged parts free of charge — no need to return the set.
“Is it stable enough for a display shelf?”
Absolutely. The assembled spider measures 39.2 × 32.6 × 19.9 cm and sits on a dedicated nameplate display stand that provides a stable, elevated base. The transparent dome and purple accents make it a striking centrepiece.
